Located in Karuizawa Town, Seseragi no Sato is a quiet villa area surrounded by lush forests, close to Hoshino Onsen and Harunire Terrace. Surrounded by the changing colors of the trees and the sounds of birds with each season, you can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere characteristic of Karuizawa. There are many walking trails nearby, making it an ideal environment for leisurely daily life surrounded by nature, whether it's walking your pet, reading, or gardening. Enjoy peaceful moments experiencing the four seasons of Karuizawa while being enveloped in a quiet forest.
≪Concept≫
We created a home that evokes the warmth of nature, enveloped in the gentle shade of trees, where light and wind circulate softly.
Taking advantage of the site's elevation difference, the living room is designed to be one step lower than the entrance. This slight difference in elevation adds depth to the space and creates a comfortable place where the view naturally connects with the greenery of the garden. A large carport is provided on the north side of the road, and the main building is set back to the south, ensuring a quiet, private space while blocking views from the street. The facade is constructed with shifted volumes, creating three-dimensional shadows and a sense of expansiveness that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings of Karuizawa.
Enveloped in tranquility, this space allows you to let your mind be freed by the light and greenery—we have captured the comforting essence of Karuizawa.

Living
The living room, earthen floor salon, and void space were designed with vertical and horizontal connections in mind. The plan creates an open and comfortable space.
Kitchen・Dining
Enjoy your meal while feeling the nature of Karuizawa. The living room and dining room are connected to each other.
The stylish kitchen features a fully equipped kitchen space with a front-opening dishwasher, an electric oven range, storage space at the rear, and a housework space.
Dining space
A dedicated housework space is provided next to the storage area at the rear of the kitchen. It can also be used as a remote workspace.
Doma Salon
The space has a calming atmosphere, with floors made of chestnut wood from Shinshu, cypress planks, and an accent wall made of thick tiles.
Enjoy a relaxing time while watching the flames of the wood stove.
2nd Floor Hall
The sub-living room opens onto the outdoor balcony terrace. It is a luxurious space where you can feel the breeze, light, and Shinshu scenery.
1st floor bedroom
A spacious walk-in closet and ample storage space. From the north window, you can see the majestic Mount Asama, creating a relaxing space where you can enjoy the four seasons of Karuizawa.
